Coriander will make you smarter, and healthier

Coriander is more than just a flavorful spice. It’s actually packed with powerful health benefits! It’s been used it both kitchen and medicine cabinets for years. In fact, all parts of the coriander plant – seeds, leaves, stems, essential oil and roots – have extraordinary healing properties.

Coriander is a natural antioxidant and helps to reduce oxidative stress on the body, and clear away free radicals. This also makes it an excellent tool to help fight and prevent cancer. In addition to clearing the body of damaging free radicals, it helps to protect and maintain DNA integrity – which keeps your body healthy down to a cellular level.

Coriander stems and leaves have been found to help treat diabetes by lowering blood sugar and stabilizing glucose levels. Extract of coriander has also been shown to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) levels and triglycerides. It’s also a powerful antifungal and antimicrobial, enabling the plant to ward off disease and infection. It may also help to protect against heavy metal poisonings due to its impressive detoxifying powers.

Some say coriander leaves also boost brain function and memory, as well. Perhaps its time to invest in a coriander plant!
